the progression here is
very simple; it is a ii-I.

the first one is just a 1-4,
and it's a very slow jam.



the second is a four-chord
progression, and it turned
out very 'inside'.



this last one represents
an early effort; it's very
loose and ultimately it's
a bit of a joke...

i hadn't taken a solo
on an electric guitar
for a while... it's a
bit rocky at some points,
but it was fun to play!

i've been trying to learn 'forlane' from
'le tombeau de couperin' by maurice ravel;
basically i worked on the first 8 bars all
night. this is the harmonic shell of the
first 8 bars.

for my post tonight, i tried
to make something formulaic,
with `inside harmonies', in
the hopes that it would play
like `feelgood' music. of
course, i couldn't resist
taking a solo. anyway, for
a midi track, i'm pretty pleased
with the sound.
