well

i'm having fun finally trying to merge real-time
guitar playing and electronic music. everything in
this track was recorded tonight. i had real ambitious
thoughts about what i could get done in a night; it
takes more time than i thought but it's a lot of fun
so it works out well.

enjoy!

more playing

well, here are two little things i saved as
i was playing around today with the new usb
condenser mic:

the 1st is a chorus from "autumn leaves"... i
recorded 3 tracks and put the bass-line down
an octave (resulting in cheesy sound a little
bit).

the 2nd is practicing over a track i made for
just that purpose.

enjoy!

new usb condenser mic

got a new toy and it should help with the
sound quality in a big way! here's an experiment
with the toy (sorry no download links; i'll fix
a bunch of posts later):

enjoy!

back to austin

well, i got back to austin yesterday and started doing
more electronic music today. i decided to start fresh
and attempt a second "method" album, which i will
creatively title "method II". already, i have cheated
and worked outside of the method, which led me to
title the first track "modifications usually acceptable":

the post title won't lead to a download link this time
because i am going to wait until i complete the whole
album before posting a download link. for now, here is
a listen. enjoy!

electronic track, borderline ambient

i made this last night and liked it. i think i named
it "okay" but i should have called it "spray."

blue in green/twins

here are a few tracks.

the first is 'blue in green' off kind of blue by
miles davis. it's a pretty slow track, and i have
recorded it one time before.

the second is 'twins' which i wrote a while ago
for a very special pair of twins on their birthday.

tonight i am very tired. hey by the way if you
ever have any requests/recommendations, i am all
ears
